An antique Georgian etching 'A View taken from the Town Hall Oxford', hand coloured and in original oak frame. The print dates from 1807 and is a study of William Elias Taunton (1773-1835), Recorder of Oxford and Justice of the King’s Bench. In good condition, print has some discolouration and surface marks, oak frame is rubbed in places, especially to bottom edge. Image size is approx. 26 x 19 cm, frame is approx. 46 x 36 cm.
