A steel engraving 'The Admiralty, Whitehall', engraved by H. Wallis for 'Dugdales England & Wales' c. 1840, after a drawing by T.H. Shepherd. Probably hand coloured at a slightly later date, in good condition, some discolouration/tanning to surface. Image area is approx.13.5 x 9.5 cm. Sold as is, mounted with tape to green and gold frame (25.5 x 20 cm approx, 10' x 8').
