Early twentieth century French print maker, Leon David etched a number of works based upon works of eighteenth century French masters, of which this is a fine example. In very good condition, small amount of foxing, area of staining to mount bottom right. Image area approx. 27.5 x 23 cm, in a frame approx. 58 x 43 cm. Signed by David in pencil to lower right of picture, framed and glazed in original state.
